Directors

Matt Gray

Matt is a highly experienced coach who has over 10 years' experience of working with children and young people in schools across the South East of England. Matt started his promising football career with Tottenham Hotspur before playing for Cardiff and Hayes. He has coached at Havant and Waterlooville FC, Eastleigh FC, Aldershot Town FC and is currently first team coach at Crawley Town FC. His responsibility within PSD is oversee the development of our coaches.

 

Kevin McKenna

Kevin has responsibility for the "teaching and learning" that PSD offers in schools having completed his BA QTS teaching qualification in 2000. Since then he has been Head of Physical Education in two "outstanding" schools within the borough of Hillingdon and from his experiences has delivered all aspects of the PE National Curriculum including all Key Stages from 1-5. Having worked through successful OFSTED inspections, Kevin provides Inset for our coaches to ensure the highest standards of coaching and teaching are implemented in schools so that every pupil under our guidance has the opportunity to reach their potential.

 

Gavin Brown

A UEFA B qualified coach, Gavin was pivotal in the development of PSD and shares his vast knowledge and experience having provided teaching of the PE National Curriculum across many schools. After completing his Degree in Sports Science at Brunel University, Gavin worked closely with primary schools to provide schemes of work, assessment criteria and extensive extra- curricular provision. Gavin is committed for pupils to enjoy PE in school with the emphasis of maintaining healthy and active lifestyles in the future, and has organised a number of sports tournaments and festivals for children to participate and enjoy, including managing the Hillingdon Borough football team to win the 2016 London Youth Games.

 

Gareth Howells

Gareth was a professional footballer who played in goal and also started his career with Tottenham Hotspur FC. From there he went on to play for Torquay United, where he scored the deciding penalty in the playoff final against Blackpool in 1991. Since gaining coaching qualifications he has been employed by Havant and Waterlooville FC and Eastleigh FC in the Conference South and PSD were delighted to secure his services that has seen him expand the PE prorgammes in Schools within Surrey, and developed the exciting PSD Gifted and Talented programme. 

 

Chris Hibbs

Chris has many years teaching experience working with young children in schools providing curriculum time PE, enrichment clubs and funweeks that PSD provide. Through his strong leadership, management and vision, PSD has grown rapidly into one of the leading providers of Physical Education in primary schools. He has responsibility for the recruitment of coaches to PSD and their continued professional development to maintain the professional standards and services that we offer to our schools and community clubs.
